Barbados Port Inc. Presents Hydraulic Filters

In the spirit of cooperation, a hallmark of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC), Barbados Port Inc. (BPI) presented Antigua and Barbuda Port Authoritywith hydraulic filters for its Liebherr LHM320 mobile crane, which the Antigua port had encountered some delay in sourcing.

The presentation was made by Mr. Ian Stewart, Terminal Operations Manager, BPI and Chairman of the PMAC Port Equipment Committee which was established to compile inventory of member ports, in order to determine compatibility and collaboration in purchasing of equipment and spares.

There has already been significant exchange of information and expertise regarding the maintenance of this model crane which is also operated by St. Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority at the port of Castries.

The considerable experience and expertise of the PMAC Port Equipment Committee is an available resource to members seeking advice regarding the various types of cargo handling, and marine equipment currently in operation.
