BIOGRAPHY OF MR. DELTON JONES
Mr. Delton Jones is a Development Economist with over 20 years’ experience in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Caribbean and South Pacific Islands.
In addition, he was formerly Turks and Caicos Islands PS/Finance Chief Economist (1992-2012), and during 2013-2016, Economic Adviser in the Economic Development Division, Pacific Community, Fiji, where he worked as lead economist on maritime transport sector planning projects funded by the World Bank and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, for eight (8) Pacific countries.
Mr. Jones joined the Ports Authority in 2016, and having acted in the position for several years, he was appointed Director of Ports in April 2021. He was selected for his first term as Vice Chairman of Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) in September 2021.
