Mr. Glenn Roach
Add a caption to enhance the meaning of `Mr. Glenn Roach was employed at Barbados Port Inc. for forty-two (42) years, where he retired as Manager, Quality Assurance. He received his tertiary education and professional training at the Caribbean Maritime Institute (Jamaica) where he was awarded MSc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, as well as Galillee College (Israel) – Diploma in Port Senior Management, and Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP) – Diploma in Management Studies.
Mr. Roach has served as Executive Secretary of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) from June 2007 – September 2025 and has presided during two terms (2016-2017 and 2018-2019) as Chairman of the Caribbean Delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities.
During his tenure as Executive Secretary, Mr. Roach managed the growth of PMAC, consisting of nine (9) members in 2007, to a dynamic Association of twenty-seven (27) Caribbean ports, and forty (40) Associate Member organisations.
Currently, Mr. Roach is the Training Administrator of PMAC with responsibility for ensuring that PMAC’s primary objective to provide member ports with a comprehensive range of professionally certified training programmes, is adequately met by the highest quality and standards.
