MR. GLENN ROACH
Mr. Glenn Roach was employed at Barbados Port Inc. for forty-two (42) years, where he retired as Manager, Quality Assurance.
He received his tertiary education and professional training at the Caribbean Maritime Institute (Jamaica) where he was awarded MSc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, as well as Galillee College (Israel) – Diploma in Port Senior Management, and Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP) – Diploma in Management Studies.
Mr. Roach currently serves the interest of the regional shipping industry as Executive Secretary of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) and has presided during two terms (2016-2017 and 2018-2019) as Chairman of the Caribbean Delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities.
During his tenure as Executive Secretary, PMAC Mr. Roach has managed the growth of PMAC consisting of nine (9) members in 2007 to a dynamic Association of eighteen (18) Caribbean ports, and thirty-one (31) Associate Member organisations.
