GEM was founded in 2020 on the island of Antigua, out of recognition of the growing need to acknowledge, formulate and implement vital plans for green energy transition in the Caribbean. Today, we focus on the pivotal hubs which are our international ports.
Having assembled a consortium of best-in-class partners for a range of renewable energy solutions, those green ambitions are ready to become reality. These critical changes will enable ports to achieve a range of outcomes, from reduced energy costs to the provision of green shore power and drastic reductions in harmful emissions. GEM is also capable of facilitating full financing for these national imperatives.
