For over 50 years the mandate entrusted to us by the Government of Suriname, is to advance the safe, efficient and effective functioning of our nation’s National Port and Transport System.
In a broader context, we facilitate the development of trade and commerce in close cooperation with the entire port community. As such, our focus is to create added value to the transportation chain and regulate infrastructure and facilities, based on the needs of our customers. As a modern port, we actively work on becoming a service center for transportation and logistics, a platform for the optimal facilitation of international transport and trade.
