Ms. Mary-Ann Abdoelkariem is employed at N.V. Havenbeheer Suriname / Suriname Port Management Company, where she works as Staff Member, Corporate Strategy and Commercial Services since 2016. 

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and Operational Research from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Master of Business Administration from Business School Netherlands.

Her professional interests lie in Business Development, Data Analysis, Process Management, Project Management, Research & Development, Stakeholder Management, and Tender Management.

Her professional training covers Port Management, Logistics, Leadership, and Sustainability

Ms. Abdoelkariem was appointed Executive Secretary of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean on October 1, 2025.
